Modif-i Alcohol

Monash University researchers are testing whether an evidence-based type of "brain-training" helps people reduce their alcohol use and cravings when delivered as a smartphone app.

You can read more about the research here.

Participating in the trial involves:

  • answering surveys about alcohol use, craving, related problems, and quality of life;
  • completing attention tests on your phone;
  • using the brain-training task for just a few minutes per week for 4 weeks.

People over 18 who wish to reduce their alcohol use are invited to take part.

Click here to answer some questions and confirm your eligibility to participate in the study.
