Are you concerned about your drinking or drug use and not sure what to do?
Knowing where to start can feel daunting. You might also feel apprehensive about talking to someone and sharing your problem. A Self-Help program might be a good place to start.
Developed by professional addiction clinicians at Turning Point, the Self-Help program is a set of modules that are free to use you, which you can complete at your own pace and at times that suit you.
The Self-Help program will help you identify how motivated you feel, help you set goals, identify what’s important to you, and help you develop a plan to address aspects of your life that have been affected by your drinking or drug use.
The modules are:
- ‘Ready, Willing and Able’ – looks at how motivated and able you feel right now.
- ‘Setting Goals’ – Show you ways to set a goal to address your drinking or drug use that is specific, measurable, achievable and relevant within a time frame.
- 'Your Values’ – helps you identify values that are important to you and helps you assess your drinking and drug use against your values.
